Ventzi Georgiev | 22.06.2009 16:10“I do believe business should not enter politics directly”, Prime Minister and leader of the Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) Sergey Stanishev said late yesterday in the town of Haskovo. Thus he clearly signalized what he thinks of the attempts of a row of Bulgarian entrepreneurs to press their policies at both local and national level through creating “business parties”. Stanishev’s stance on the established in recent years tend to creating business parties was announced in response to a question asked during his meeting with socialists and supporters in Haskovo at which he also presented his book Because We Are Socialists. “This is not to say that a person of wealth who is a socialist, for example, may not and should not take part to BSP’s policy”, Stanishev elaborated.
