PM Stanishev Calls For Quick Government Make Up After General Election
The primå-minister rejected the possibility for early election after the regular vote for national parliament, as well as a government formed without BSP’s participation and by “insufficiently competent and not aware of the real problems” political forces
Buldaria News | 05.06.2009 11:52Prime Minister Sergey Stanishev appealed for creating a stable majority and quick formation of a government with stable political backing and clear economy program after the election for the 41st National Assembly. The premier stated this before bTV after being asked was a BSP coalition rule possible after the national general election. He pointed out the two other options – cabinet formed by not enough competent political forces not aware of the real problems in the country and elections to the very last until late autumn, which would – in his words – take the country to economy and political destabilization, threat for the currency board, and financial and social turmoil hurting the poorest. The prime-minister wished CEDB Leader Boyko Borissov quick recovery, referring to his leg trauma, and once again called him on “leaders’ debates without insults” in bTV’s studio, as was the world practice in all civilized countries.
