BSP Lowers Preferential Threshold From 15% To 10%

The Socialists selected five spokespersons for the elections, want pre-election campaign cut 9 days shorter, tabling the proposal with the Parliament at 6:00 pm today

Five spokespersons will represent the election headquarters of the Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP). Those are Mr. Anton Koutev, Mrs. Kornelia Ninova, Mr. Kiril Dobrev, Mrs. Semra Izetova, and Mrs. Vania Dobreva. A new mechanism is proposed for composing the election lists in order of removing dead souls from them without preliminary fixing personal data. The Socialists want clearly defined rules for the selection of an 18th Bulgarian MEP at ratifying the Lisbon Agreement upon no need of holding additional election. The person in question should be selected from the parties passing the entry threshold for the European Parliament.
